Lettermoth

Privacy policy

Effective October 5, 2026

Short version: Lettermoth does not collect your personal data. There are no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no trackers. What you have finished is saved on your own device and nowhere else.

What the game stores on your device

This stays on your phone. We cannot see it. If you delete the game, it is deleted with it. Your phone's own backup (iCloud or Google backup) may include it, under the rules of that service.

What the game does not do

Network use

The game works fully offline. In a version that can download new sets of cards, the game asks lettermoth.com for a single list of available sets and then for the pictures in them. That request carries what any web request carries, such as your IP address and the time. Our web host keeps standard server logs for security and running the service, and we do not use them to identify or follow anyone.

Purchases

Lettermoth does not sell anything today. If an optional pack of cosmetic extras is added later, the purchase would be handled by Apple or Google under their terms, and we will update this page before that happens. Nothing sold would change how the game plays.

Children

Because the game collects no personal data, it collects none from children either. It has no chat, no links out, and nothing that connects players to one another.

This website

This site has no cookies, no analytics and no third-party scripts. Its fonts are served from the site itself.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date. If a change would mean collecting data, the game will tell you inside the app first.
