Common questions
- Where is my progress saved?
- On your device only. Lettermoth has no accounts, so there is nothing to sign in to. If you delete the game, your finished cards go with it. Your phone's own backup may restore them if you reinstall.
- Can I change the number of pieces?
- Yes. Before you start a card you can choose 12, 24 or 48 pieces. To try a card again at a different size, finish it, then choose "Play again" or open it from the album.
- Dragging is hard for me. Is there another way?
- Tap a piece to select it, then tap its place on the board. You can also turn on the faint ghost of the picture, use "Edges first" to dim the middle pieces, and use "Nudge" to point out a piece that fits. Settings has an outline strength slider and a reduce-motion switch.
- Is there a timer or a limit on how often I can play?
- No. There are no timers, lives or streaks. New cards wait for you as long as you like.
- I turned off the sound and it still plays music.
- Sound effects and ambient sound are separate. In Settings, switch "Sound effects" off and choose "Off" under "Ambient sound".
- The game stopped on an error screen.
- Tap "Try again". If it keeps happening, write to us with the message shown on the screen. It helps us find the cause.
- Does the game collect my data?
- No. See the privacy policy.
